New York Film Critics Name ‘The Artist’ Best Picture

So earlier today we posted the Gotham Awards winners and not too long after we also posted the nominations for the 27th Film Independent’s Spirit Awards, but it doesn’t end there folks. We are at the start of award season and now the New York film critics take the spotlight.

The New York Critics Circle have unveiled their list for the best in film of 2011 and Michel Hazanavicius takes home the awards for Best Director and Best Picture for The Artist, solidifying its status as an Oscar frontrunner.
