Popoptiq’s Sarah Lord continues her trip through Star Wars with a look at “Episode II – Attack of the Clones”

Attack of the Clones

The release of  Star Wars: The Force Awakens later this month will mark the newest entry in one of the most popular science fiction movie franchises to date, the first new addition to the series in a decade. To commemorate the new film, the first one made without the involvement of George Lucas and directed by JJ Abrams, who also co-wrote the film with Lawrence Kasdan and Michael Arndt, we here at Popoptiq are celebrating with a look at the films and the impact they’ve had in the leadup to the seventh film’s release.

We are not the only ones doing so, however, as Popoptiq contributor Sarah Lord is in the midst of her own journey through the Star Wars universe, looking at the films, tv shows, and comic books that have expanded on the universe and its numerous inhabitants. Going through the films in the order that Lucas intended them to be in, Sarah first reviewed Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace, and now takes a look at its follow-up, Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones. Sarah’s review of the film, which stars Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor, and Christopher Lee, can be seen below.
