Selena Gomez ruminates on small-town life in first clip from ‘Spring Breakers’

Harmony Korine is not a director whom many associate with teen stars, so it came as a surprise to many when the cast for his newest feature, Spring Breakers, was announced, with fans and critics both wondering how this would affect the low-budget aesthetic that has become a trademark of Korine during his career. The first feature-length film from Korine since 2009’s Trash Humpers, and one in which he once again takes on screenwriting duties as well, stars James Franco, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson, Heather Morris, Gucci Mane, and Rachel Korine. The first clip from the movie has now been released to go along with the previously released promotional photos, and can be seen below.
