It has been over two years now since AMC’s hit series Breaking Bad has aired its series finale and upon its conclusion, there has been speculation of the series continuing as a spinoff series and then possibly a prequel series and then there was word that it could possibly be both. All that was clear about the new series is that it would be called Better Call Saul and center around Saul Goodman with Bob Odenkirk reprising the role and Vince Gilligan and, Saul co-creator, Peter Gould set as the creative team.
The series was set to premiere this November but was then delayed until early 2015, albeit renewed for a second season. Since the postponement there has been very little information given about the new series, other than the first season will have a ten episode run with the second season with an order of thirteen episodes, but no word of when it would air. Finally this week, the wait is over. AMC has announced that Better Call Saul has an official premiere date.
Better Call Saul will have a two night debut starting on Sunday, February 8th 2015 at 10pm; following the mid season return of AMC’s The Walking Dead. The second episode will air Monday, February 9th at 10pm, its regular night time slot.
