‘As I Lay Dying’, James Franco’s adaption of the William Faulkner novel, releases its first trailer

As I Lay Dying

Whether it’s from his supporting turn on the cult tv hit Freaks & Geeks, or from his role as Harry Osborn in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, James Franco has garnered many fans. However, his post-fame route has not been what many had expected, as Franco has diversified his role selection with performances in movies such as Milk, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and Spring Breakers. In addition, Franco has also weaved in and out of directing and writing duties in a number of projects, the latest of which is an adaptation of a novel by William Faulkner. Titled As I Lay Dying, the film sees Franco take on writing, directing, and acting duties, appearing onscreen alongside Richard Jenkins, Danny McBride, Tim Blake Nelson, and Beth Grant. The first trailer for the film has now been released, and can be seen below.
