Batfleck Shows Off His Bat-Skills in Final Trailer for ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’

In case you needed a reminder that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a Zack Snyder film, this final trailer has no qualms punching and kicking that fact in your face (set to action-y guitar filled music).

It’s hard to believe that one of the most anticipated movies of 2016 is coming out in just a little over a month. Soon the world will know the true strength and stamina of two of the most iconic super heroes to ever exist. And yet this final trailer does its best to showcase that point as well, opening with Batfleck kicking some serious butt to the tune of Jeremy Iron’s Alfred giving him instructions. A smart move, since we’ve all seen what Henry Cavill’s Superman can do thanks to Man of Steel. This film has the task of proving to us that Ben Affleck can actually deliver as both the caped crusader and the smooth-talking billionaire Bruce Wayne.

While the movie certainly focuses on a bunch of dudes, this trailer does give us more glimpses of Gal Gadot as Diana Prince AKA Wonder Woman. Although the addition of her and Lex Luthor and Doomsday (who does not make an appearance in this new trailer) and several other characters may make things a tad cluttered, fans have been eager for Wonder Woman to make her big screen debut. Annoyingly its not in her own movie, but thankfully her appearance here will lead to a solo Wonder Woman film (thank the Kryptonian gods).

Essentially this is the trailer fans have been waiting for. Sure it doesn’t give us any new material of Lex Luthor’s manic speeches, but it does establish even more the hard fought battle that will ensue between the two title characters. Superman may be able to tear apart the bat-mobile, but Batman is able to block Superman’s arm without his breaking, and that’s a pretty big deal.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will hit theaters in the U.S. on March 25. It’s so close and yet so far, so let the trailer below comfort you until late March.
