Brie Larson is trying to get out in new trailer for ‘Room’

Brie Larson with another Oscar worthy performance?

Following her spell-bounding work in Short Term 12, it seems like Larson could be giving yet another award-worthy performance in the new trailer for director Lenny Abrahamson’s Room, which just played at Telluride. The film also stars Jacob Tremblay, Joan Allen, and William H. Macy.

Coming from a book of the same name, Room is about a mother (Larson) and her son (Tremblay) who are confined to a 10×10 room, which she says is the entire world. She does her best to give her son a worldly experience in this small space until they hatch an escape, putting her son in the real world for the very first time.

Larson looks to be on the top of her game again with the young Tremblay getting a lot of buzz out of the festivals for his performance. Abrahamson crafted one of the more underrated films in Frank last year and this one looks like it could net some awards for the performances of the two leads.

Room is set to open in limited release on October 16 and will go wider on November 6.
