Anastasia State Park provides camping accommodations for RVs and tent camping near the beach. All the spots are shady and offer a decent amount of privacy, thanks to the abundant live oaks and palms around the property. The RV sites are gravel and for the most part level, and all have electric hook-ups and water. You won’t have sewer hookups at your site, but there’s a dump station in the park that you can use. The location is excellent!

You can explore the white-sanded beaches, hike the trails, check out the wildlife, kayak, and swim! The State Park is pet-friendly, but dogs need to be on a leash, and they are not allowed on the beach. If you’re tent camping, there are bathrooms and shower facilities on-site, and you don’t have to worry about aggressive wildlife. Just make sure that your food is put away! The State Park is also a great location where you can quickly get into downtown St. Augustine’s historic district in about 10 minutes. Plus, walk to the amphitheater for concerts or the Farmer’s Market every Saturday! Anastasia State Park offers you the best of both worlds – camping with beautiful scenery in a natural setting and close to the hustle and bustle of downtown!

They offer permanent, seasonal, and transient sites, with tons of room between them. All sites have electricity, water, and sewer, plus cable tv and excellent wireless internet! 4 Lakes continues to expand their amenities, and right now has a great, fenced-in dog park, brand new laundry, and a community house with weekly game nights, arts and crafts activities, and even yoga! Walk the 2-mile trails around the campground and search for shark’s teeth in the gravel, enjoy a campfire at night, and watch the gorgeous sunset over the lakes!

We absolutely love the community vibe here and love the fact that it’s outside the hustle and bustle of St. Augustine proper, so we can really relax and kick-back! The staff is super friendly and accommodating, always with a smile and a suggestion on where the best places to go are! If you’re looking for a campground where you can spread out and relax, without being on top of your neighbors, but convenient enough to explore the Oldest City, 4 Lakes is the place to be!

Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort is the best place to camp for guests who want to stay on the beach. They have amazing amenities to offer too.

Ever want to camp on the beach? Then Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort is the place for you! The oceanfront spots are literally 150 yards from the water, so you can wake up and fall asleep to the crashing waves on the shore! This is an RV only camping spot that gets really crowded because it’s prime real estate! You’ll find your neighbors are parked very close to you, and while you won’t get much privacy, it’s a price you pay for the views and convenience of having the beach right at your fingertips.

The sites are actually individually owned, and some offer excellent amenities like concrete pads and gazebos, but some places are still sand-laden and will have poor drainage. If you’re all about the beach, and you don’t mind the close neighbors, sandy sections, and narrow drives, Bryn Mawr is the place to be! The Resort also offers a pool and spa for those who are interested and want a break from the saltwater. If you’re all about the location, though, you can’t get much better than here!

Compass RV Resort is conveniently located in St. Augustine with easy access to the historic district with a trolly stop right outside the gates. There are three areas that you can camp in, the Grove, the Pond, and the Oasis. The Oasis is the newest part of the campground where the sites are double-wide and have brick pavers, while the Grove and the Pond both feature gravel sites. You have full hookups no matter where you go, though, and some have concrete patios as well as picnic tables and firepits.

I think my favorite part of this campground though, is that they have buddy sites, where you can co-camp with a friend, and your sites share a common area between them! It’s super convenient for any RV celebration or even just catching up with old friends! Compass RV Resort also offers a salt-water swimming pool and clubhouse, where they have a variety of activities for folks looking for community or just to meet some new people!
