Digg This Short film: Canterbury Black
Canterbury Black announces the arrival of a very unique voice in Andre Szydlowski. If short films were lottery tickets, Canterbury Black’s frenzied teen fever dream of flatfoot patter and bobby pin plot twists make a winning combination. Whatever it is, it’s not quite like any student film I’ve seen before. This entertaining homage to noir’s past has been slickly and compellingly updated to a contemporary modern setting. Pay close attention, Canterbury provides countless easter eggs and a punchy aftertaste – enough so, to demand a repeat viewing.
