First Teaser For Jackie Chan’s 100th Movie ‘1911’

A trailer for Jackie Chan‘s 100th movie 1911 has landed. Chan co-directed the film along with Zhang Li and co-stars as one of the two rival leaders in a nationalist movement. Set in the year 1911, obviously, the film tells the story of the founding of the Republic of China when Sun Yat-sen’s forces overthrew the Ming Dynasty. Sun is played by look-alike Chinese actor Zhao Wen Xuan. Li Bingbing and Joan Chen also star. The film started shooting in September and will be released in October 2011 coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the Revolution itself.     I think you have confused Jackie Chan with Donnie Yen who starred in Bodyguards and Assassins. The trailer is actually a Japanese teaser trailer. Although the dialogue is in Chinese.
