Over the years, FX has garnered a reputation for quality programming among television fans, with shows such as The Shield, Justified, and The Americans hailing from the channel. 2014 saw them add a new show to their critically acclaimed roster with the Noah Hawley-created series Fargo, which garnered 18 Emmy nominations in its first season. Loosely adapted from the film by the Coen Brothers, the show also drew attention when Hawley pointed out that the second season would be set in 1979, while investigating another crime in the same town.
With the change in time period will also come a change in cast, as the new season will see performers such as Kirsten Dunst, Patrick Wilson, Ted Danson, Nick Offerman, and Cristin Milioti. The new season will premiere in September, and ahead of the show’s return, FX has released two new teasers focusing on some of the new characters. The teasers, which are sparse on dialogue, can be seen below, and Sound on Sight’s coverage of the first season can be read here.
