Among one of the more notable entries in the 2013-2014 television season was the FX series Fargo. Having previously garnered acclaim for shows such as The Shield, Louie, and Justified, the new series on the channel, brought onboard by The Unusuals creator Noah Hawley, also received critical praise during its first season. Interest in the series increased, however, when it was revealed that the second season would change the time period and focus on a nearly new set of characters, as well as a new mystery.
The new season is poised to be set in 1979, with the first season’s cast replaced by Patrick Wilson, Ted Danson, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, Nick Offerman, Brad Garrett, and Bruce Campbell. The season will be set in Sioux Falls, North Dakota and Luverne, Minnesota, and will make its premiere in October. Ahead of the second season’s release, a full trailer has now been released, along with a number of teasers, all of which can be seen below.
