Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are you’re aware that the first film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’s Hunger Games series is out this coming Friday, March 23rd. A bloodthirsty public has snapped up most of the opening-weekend tickets already, but here at Sound on Sight, we’re ready to do you one better. Thanks to Alliance Film, we have 10 double passes to give away for advance screenings in Halifax and Ottawa and one double pass for a screening in Toronto. Oh and we’ve already seen it this insanely-anticipated flick., and trust me when we say, you don’t want to miss out. Editor-in-chief Ricky D of Sound On Sight has already called it a near-masterpiece and Editor Simon Howell went on to describe it as “a surprisingly credible stab at high-concept entertainment with some semblance of creativity”.
