Filmmaker Michel Gondry gained a lot of fans with his 2004 feature Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, a movie that ended up on its fair share of Best of the Decade lists. Following a brief foray into mainstream superhero action with 2011’s The Green Hornet, Gondry reverted back to his brand of unique filmmaking, taking on the reins of the adaptation of the Boris Vian novel L’écume des jours. Gondry stays behind the camera for this movie, which retains the same french name while being retitled Mood Indigo in english, working from a script by Luc Bossi, and a cast that includes Audrey Tautou, Romain Duris, and Omar Sy. The first trailer for the feature has now been released, and can be seen below.
