‘Oldboy’, Spike Lee’s remake of the South Korean film, releases a new clip
South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-Wook’s 2005 film Oldboy is well-regarded amongst the international film community, enough so that many were wary when news was released that Hollywood was looking into remaking the film. Interest in the remake was raised, however, with the official confirmation that Malcolm X and Inside Man helmer Spike Lee would be heading up the project. Working from a script by Mark Protosevich, Lee directs a cast that includes Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Samuel L. Jackson, Sharlto Copley, Michael Imperioli, and Hannah Simone. A new clip from the film has now been released, and can be seen below.
