For not our first, not our second, but in fact our third look at the career of director Michael Bay, he of the outsized blockbuster, we focus on “low-budget” Bay. That includes his newest effort, the relatively small-scale Pain & Gain, which has already garnered some very divided attention, along with his 1995 feature debut, Bad Boys. Ricky D was unable to join in, but Josh Spiegel and Simon Howell do their best to keep pace in his absence.
