The Dyatlov Pass incident was a mysterious event which resulted in the deaths of nine Russian ski hikers in the northern Ural mountains. On February 2nd, a search party found the hiker’s tents ripped open from the inside and all nine hikers dead from hypothermia. Soviet investigators simply determined that “a compelling natural force” had caused the deaths even though two victims had fractured skulls, two had broken ribs, and one was missing her tongue. The incident has long been a source of speculation and now director Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger) is tackling the events with his found footage horror film appropriately titled The Dyatlov Pass Incident. While there is still no release date, a trailer has been release which you can watch below. Enjoy!
