Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series ‘Scream Queens’ gets an extended trailer

Scream Queens

Over the years, Ryan Murphy’s name has gained prominence in the television world, as the show creator has become more prolific. Having previously gained prominence for being the driving force behind Nip/Tuck, Murphy rose to fame as the creator of the hit Fox musical series Glee, soon following it up with the FX anthology series American Horror Story and the NBC sitcom The New Normal, with all three shows on the air during the 2012-2013 television season.

With the Fox series drawing to a close earlier this year, Murphy already has a new series coming to the channel in the 2015-2016 television season. Titled Scream Queens, the horror-comedy reunites Murphy with Glee‘s Lea Michele and American Horror Story‘s Emma Roberts, with Jamie Lee Curtis and Abigail Breslin also joining the cast. The synopsis is below.

After a 1995 sorority pledge gone wrong, someone is out for vengeance when a college campus is rattled by a series of murders at the twentieth anniversary of the crime.

With the series set to make its premiere in September, Fox has released an extended trailer for the series, which can be seen below.
