The main attraction for Day Two of San Diego Comic Con was the Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel. Thousands lined up to get into the cavernous Hall H, the biggest of the venues at Comic-Con and the long hours of waiting around paid off in spades. Not only did the fans become the first ones to experience the new behind-the-scene footage, but they also got to witness first hand the return of Harrison “Han Solo” Ford, making his first public appearance since his terrible plane crash. And if that wasn’t enough, at the end of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel, director J.J. Abrams and producer Kathleen Kennedy invited all 7,000 fans in attendance to a secret live orchestra concert! They literally escorted everyone out of Hall H and guided them a few blocks away to an outdoor venue, and gave everyone a Hasbro toy Lightsaber! Before the concert began, Abrams and Kennedy invited the majority of the cast up on stage including Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, and Oscar Isaac. And, then the legendary composer John Williams appeared on a giant screen delivering a special message for the crowd! This is why San Diego Comic-Con is as big as it is. This is why thousands of people flock to the convention center year after year. And for those of you not there, Emese Gaal HeyUGuys both released some footage on their YouTube channels which should give you some understanding of just how amazing Comic-Con is. It even ends with fireworks! Enjoy!
