New ‘Batman v Superman’ trailer teases another villain and shows three heroes standing side by side

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Zach Snyder’s Man of Steel nor am I a huge fan of his work in general (although Watchmen was pretty good), but I must admit, I’m looking forward to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This new trailer isn’t great, but it sure is better than the first teaser which was released earlier this year at SDCC. This latest trailer confirms one of the biggest rumors and offers the first look at Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman standing side-by-side and preparing for battle. And yes it also reveals that Doomsday is the main villain that the Trinity will need to take out. Check it out above, and let us know what you think in the comments below.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives March 25, 2016. Zack Snyder directed from a script by Chris Terrioand David Goyer. Ben Affleck stars as Batman, Henry Cavill returns as Superman, and Gal Gadot makes her debut as Wonder Woman. Jason Momoa is additionally expected to make a cameo as Aquaman. Also starring are Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth. Jena Malone and Scoot McNairy also appear in unspecified roles.

Synopsis: Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’ most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
