The final episode of Telltale’s Game of Thrones series seems to fully put a cap on this story, and it isn’t hard to see why. After a very mixed bag of ups and downs, the story of House Forrester will probably be remembered with feelings of vague positivity but not much else.
The last two episodes of Hell on Wheels, “Life’s a Mystery” and “Reckoning” were startling disappointments with only a few bright spots. This is especially true in comparison to just how good the first three episodes of the season were and how brilliant the third season was. Until the final minutes of “Life’s a Mystery”, it seems like Hell on Wheels has lost its direction.
There’s certainly plenty left to explore here, and even if the series moves further down the path of plot development, this world is one of television’s most interesting.
