Interview with ‘Tommy’ Artist Juan Navarro

Juan Navarro is an artist and co-founder of the small press indie comic book company Creature Entertainment located in Miami, Florida. He writes the supernatural crime drama Rez and draws the psychological horror story Tommy. He also runs his own website FWACATA and has his own webcomic The Zombie Years about a futuristic zombie apocalypse.

Religious faith and love for weird movies combine in Joe Badon’s ‘The Man with Ten Thousand Eyes’ Kickstarter

Inspired not by other comics but by his strong religious faith and love of strange movies, Joe Badon’s The Man with Ten Thousand Eyes Kickstarter comic looks for $3,000 by Friday, Nov. 13.
“This is kind of like a super abstract internal dialogue I’m having with myself about my walk with God, but in a super weird, noir, crazy abstract filter,” said Badon via Skype interview.

The Best Indies of Wizard World Cleveland 2015

The Sires of Time is a new piece of Arthurian legend.The story is bold and interesting, but the art is phenomenally eye catching. The whole issue was done with a brush and crow quill (according to the back page). These ink drawings are some of the best I’ve seen, and it compliments the styling of the story as a whole. Dragunas’s art is reminiscent of the classic wood block prints found in 15th and 16th century European texts. The style is both visually stunning and functional. The Sires of Time was by far the best book of Wizard World Cleveland.
