‘Kingdom Hearts III’ ups the ante as Sora’s chapter ends

Square Enix did more than tease game mechanics for the much anticipated Kingdom Hearts III at this years E3 event, instead fans were delighted to see a full fledged trailer. I for one struggled to contain my excitement when I saw a trailer with a more complete look at gameplay on Square Enix’s stage after waiting for …

Will ‘The Last Guardian’ be worth the wait?

Few video games have been as anticipated as The Last Guardian, and while it’s unlikely to fulfill the masses that love Call Of Duty or Madden every year, The Last Guardian has been seen by many as a beacon of originality. Created by Team ICO and distributed by Sony Computer Entertainment, The Last Guardian has …

Street Dreams: Hopes and dreams for ‘Street Fighter V’

Sports. Poker. Paintballing. BBQs. These are just a few of the many ways that man has looked within to seek out an emotional connection with his fellow man. ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ to return franchise to its competitive roots

Alongside Halos 1 through 4 in the upcoming Master Chief Collection, fans will also have access to the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta, starting December 27 and ending January 22, 2015. Not much else is known, but it will go beyond server stress tests unlike most modern betas, analyzing and incorporating user feedback to create a more balanced, refined experience. This makes sense considering the beta begins almost one year before Guardians is expected to ship in the winter of 2015.

‘Rainbow 6: Siege’ is a welcome return to form

This year’s E3 had a lot to like. We had more glimpses of the return of both Nathan Drake and Master Chief. We had the continued rise of the indie developer, showing fantastic stuff like No Man’s Sky and Inside. We had Nintendo finally delivering a strong showing – Zelda! Splatoon! Captain Toad! – with a pre-recorded event that arguably trumped both Sony and Microsoft’s live offerings (it was certainly a hell of a lot more fun – the Iwata/Reggie face off eliciting genuine laughs rather than awkward groans).

‘Bloodborne’ takes the ‘Souls’ formula in a bold, new direction

So it looks like Sony and From Software have made nice. After the rift between the two companies, caused by Sony deferring on publishing a Demon’s Souls successor, From cut a deal with Namco Bandai and Atlus, who have published the spiritual successors: Dark Souls and Dark Souls II.
