The double

As a castmember of shows such as Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace and The IT Crowd, Richard Ayoade has garnered numerous fans for his onscreen work. His feature filmmaking debut, however, revealed a new set of skills, and left many interested to see what he would pursue next. That turned out to be an adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky, which Ayoade directs and co-writes with Avi Korine. The film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mia Wasikowska, Chris O’Dowd, Wallace Shawn, Sally Hawkins, and Paddy Considine. A new trailer for the feature, which made its debut at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, has now been released, and can be seen below. You can also read our review of the film here.
