TIFF 2011: Films We Are Most Looking Forward To – Trailer for the Post-Apocalyptic ‘The Day’
Yesterday we posted the line-up for I the Midnight Madness program at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival, my personal favorite program of the entire fest. Sure they don’t play the best films, but you can’t beat the atmosphere of a midnight movie packed with thousands of genre enthusiasts. So now that I’m getting ready to head out and see Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark, the closing film of the Fantasai Film Festival, I figured it was time to look ahead at my next major festival, TIFF. First in the line-up of my most anticipated film is The Day, about a band of survivors who must fight to keep humanity alive in a bleak post-apocalyptic world. Here is the trailer.
