Nacho Vigalondo first burst into the scene when receiving an Academy Award nomination and a Best Short Film Award nomination at the European Film Awards for his short 7:35 de la Mañana. But it was his entertaining low budget time travel directorial debut Timecrimes that caught everyone’s attention. Now he is back with his latest flick Extraterrestrial of which TIFF says: “Quirky and profound, Extraterrestrial expounds on natures both human and imaginary”. An unsubbed Spanish trailer for the film has been released, but we assume some of our readers speak the language. For everyone else, the film is definitely worth your attention, a blend of science fiction, romance and black comedy with a look into the human psyche. Enjoy!

Well, gee, if you knew what the trailer was about, couldn’t you have paraphrased it for us unilingual viewers?
