Toronto – “If anyone knows what film terror should look like, it is [George A.] Romero” (Lewis Beale, The New York Times), and if anyone should know the oeuvre of Mr. Romero, it’s probably TIFF Bell Lightbox. Starting this Halloween and running until November 4th, TIFF Bell Lightbox presents Living Dread: The Cinema of George A. Romero, a retrospective of his highly influential work.

Mr. Romero will be there in person on Wednesday, October 31 as a part of In Conversation With… to discuss his over five decade career as the godfather of American horror cinema, and will be on hand with TIFF programmer Colin Geddes to introduce some of his films, as well as Michael Powell’s voyeur classic Peeping Tom.
