TIFF Rounds Out Slate With Films From Jonathan Demme, Gus Van Sant And More
The schedule for TIFF was released today and if you already had a ton of trouble choosing what to see, it might get trickier now. The fest has finalized their slate for 2011 with some new, exciting and notable additions inclduing The Kid With A Bike, Aki Kaurismäki‘s Le Havre, Bela Tarr’s final film (or so he says) The Turin Horse and Bruno Dumont’s Outside Satan. But that is not all: Chantal Akerman‘s Almayer’s Folly, Alexander Sokurov‘s Faust, Gus Van Sant‘s Restless, the Sundance hit Pariah and Jonathan Demme’s third Neil Young documentary Neil Young Life will also screen. I just posted my list of my 25 most anticipated films. Looks like I will have to go back and extend the line-up sometime later in the day.
The Toronto International Film Festival runs from September 8 to 18.[vsw id=”fQPDZulp0qc&feature=fvst” source=”youtube” width=”500″ height=”425″ autoplay=”no”]
