Amour (Love)
Written by Michael Haneke
Directed by Michael Haneke
France, Austria and Germany, 2012

The trailer for Amour – fresh off giving its’ director a back to back Palme d’Or win (previous film The White Ribbon won in 2009) – has just dropped. Mysterious, dramatic and slightly scary are not words I would normally associate with a movie about an elderly couple with domestic issues, but they are the only ones that fit for me. I was gonna use Benny’s Video as my first Haneke experience, but I may wait for this to open in December instead.
