The new red band trailer for Let Me In has finally made its way into circulation, with never before seen R-rated footage. The eerie story follows Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee of The Road), a withdrawn 12-year old, bullied by classmates and neglected from divorcing parents. Spending his days plotting the revenge on his harassers, Owen finds a new friend in his neighbor, Abby (Chloe Moretz of Kick-Ass), a vampire outcast who lives with her muted father (Oscar nominated Richard Jenkins) in secrecy. After recognizing similarities, Owen creates a strong bond with Abby, opening up a world-wind of danger and horror in his life and the lives of those around him.
Let Me In is the remake of the 2008 Swedish film, Let the Right One In, directed by Matt Reeves of 2008’s Cloverfield. It’s set to be theatrically released on October 1, 2010.
