Trailer: Martin McDonagh’s ‘Seven Psychopaths’ sports an all-star cast and a stolen dog

With his last film, In Bruges, successful playwright Martin McDonagh made a real name for himself as a feature length writer/director. Having not made a film since then, he’s now back with Seven Psychopaths, which looks to be a very funny and violent crime pic that fits right into his wheelhouse. The film follows a struggling screenwriter (Colin Farrell), who inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends kidnap a gangster’s beloved Shih Tzu. Aside from Farrell, the all-star cast includes Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Tom Waits, Christopher Walken, Abbie Cornish, Olga Kurylenko, and Gabourey Sidibe. Seven Psychopaths will premiere at TIFF, and see a wider release on October 12th. You can check out the brand new trailer below.
