The trailer for Wes Craven’s My Soul To Keep is now online for everyone to see. This is the first film since Wes Craven has written and directed sine Wes Craven’s New Nightmare back in 1994.
As legend has it, a serial killer will return to the quaint town of Riverton to murder the seven children that were born the night he allegedly died. Sixteen years after his death, members of the community begin to disappear. The plot focuses around the idea of his death being true, him still being at large or him possessing one of seven to complete the murders.
Craven describes the killer in March 2009 as “a figure who lives under the river” eats bark and lives in the woods since his alleged death. Henry Lee Hopper, son of late actor Dennis Hopper, was originally cast in the lead role of Adam “Bug” Heller, but was replaced by Max Thieriot after Hopper contracted mononucleosis. The films also stars John Magaro, Paulina Olszynski and Nick Lashaway.
My Soul To Keep is set for an release on October 8, 2010 and will run in 3-D.
