‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’, the latest entry in the film franchise, releases a trailer

Transformers Age of Extinction

With a 12 year feature filmmaking career under his belt, director Michael Bay was a veteran of action movies when he signed on for 2007’s Transformers. Through the three movies, Bay found massive commercial success despite the departure of leading lady Megan Fox between the second and third pictures. This left many intrigued when it was announced that the fourth film would feature a new cast, as both Bay and writer Ehren Kruger were set to return. Titled Transformers: Age of Extinction, this project sees Bay working with an onscreen cast that includes Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Titus Welliver, Nicola Peltz, and T.J. Miller. Following the Superbowl teaser, a new trailer for the film has now been released, and can be seen below.

There was once a time when I thought Scarface was the best movie ever made, and Home Improvement was appointment television for me. While I still have a soft spot for both, those days of naivete are long behind me, as I’ve subsequently managed to broaden my horizons. Ambition is the most important part of a movie for me; if it tries to do something unique, tell a well-worn story in a different way, or take on large themes in a honest manner, I can forgive many flaws. If there’s one movie fact I’ve learnt after all these years, it’s that Employee of The Month is to Office Space what fast food is to fresh fruit.
