This is a special week for the Round-Up. While searching the interwebs for posters I was appalled to discover that there really weren’t any. Every poster I came across was worse than the last, which gave me an idea; Why not celebrate a week of terrible posters? So, enjoy a look at some of the worst posters you will see, and hopefully the worst posters you will see from the Round-Up this year.
1. Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part 2
I love when one successful film has a series of posters, the very next year another movie hoping to be successful follows suit. This is nearly a mirror image of the character posters for Inception last year.
2. A Separation
Far from the worst poster of the week but everything seems so jumbled and incoherent.
3. The Perfect Age of Rock ‘n’ Roll
Besides the sheen photoshopped floating heads, the color stands out as being exceptionally murky.
4. Mother’s Day
The one thing that sticks out about this poster is the mentioning of the director of Saw II, III, and IV somehow being a good thing.
I hope for the sake of the film makers the soundtrack for this film doesn’t suck.
6. Real Steel
I’m still having trouble believing this movie really exists, and the posters aren’t helping.
7. Money Pet
This looks like a poster you would see in a film about a struggling actor.
8. How to Steal 2 Million
This poster is so sloppily photoshopped that I’m not even sure the people are real. Maybe they should have stolen a few dollars to make a better poster. *rim shot*
9. You Got Served: Beat The World
It is impossible to look at this poster and not get angry.
10. Balada Triste
The best of the worst is colorful, but can use a little bit of restraint. It’s a bit of an ugly barrage.
