Being a part of the modern television landscape comes with a number of challenges, with different groups facing different obstacles, both in doing their job and in surviving in the industry at large. Over the past few years, The Hollywood Reporter has taken the Emmy nominations as a way to gather luminaries from different fields to talk about their experiences and challenges in their own words.
2015 is no exception in that regard, and with the Emmy awards approaching, the first of these roundtables has been released. The first conversation involves some of the 2015 nominees from both Lead Actress in a Dramatic Role and Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie, bringing together Taraji P. Henson (nominated for Empire), Viola Davis (nominated for How To Get Away With Murder), Jessica Lange (nominated for American Horror Story), and Maggie Gyllenhaal (nominated for The Honorable Woman) along with Lizzy Caplan and Ruth Wilson. The conversation can be seen below.
