With the number of individuals who enjoy both movies and video games increasing everyday, the former medium has adapted a number of the latter’s flagship franchises, with the Resident Evil series, Silent Hill, and Max Payne among the videogames that have made the jump to the big screen, with adaptations of Warcraft and Assassin’s Creed on the way. Numerous films have also been openly influenced by videogames while not being direct adaptations, such as Wreck-It Ralph and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
Now, on the eve of the release of Pixels, another film that falls in the latter category, a supercut video of numerous videogame adaptations and influenced movies has been made. The video, in addition to featuring all the released films mentioned above, with the exception of Pixels, also includes scenes from Prince of Persia, Tron: Legacy, and Gamer, among others.
