Chinese director Wong Kar Wai has made a name for himself on the international film stage over the years, with movies such as Chungking Express and 2046 transcending language barriers to find fans all over the world. He has been notably absent from theatres since 2007, however, with his last feature, My Blueberry Nights, having received mixed reviews. His newest project, however, sees him venturing into biopic waters, in an attempt to tell the story of Ip Man, the martial arts coach of Hollywood legend Bruce Lee. Wong Kar Wai also co-wrote the screenplay, with longtime collaborator Tony Leung stepping into the lead role, joined by Zhang Ziyi and Chang Chen. A new trailer for the movie has now been released, and can be seen below.
