Sordid Cinema Rewind: Original ‘Dead’ Trilogy w. guest George A. Romero

In 1968, director George A. Romero reinvented the “zombie” film with Night of the Living Dead and has since re-visited genre five times and counting with, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Diary of the Dead, and Survival of the Dead. In the inaugural podcast from Sound on Sight’s spinoff show, Sordid Cinema, host Ricky D invited Detroit Burns (of CKUT), and Al Kratina (of The Montreal Gazette) to discuss George A. Romero’s influential series starting with the original trilogy. At the end of the show, Ricky and Al interview Romero to discuss his films and more.
