We recently posted the letter that director Terrence Malick had personally written to theaters across the United States with certain specifications for The Tree of Life. Now add Michael Bay to the list of directors requesting their film be displayed properly. After last week’s announcement that Transformers: Dark of the Moon has been specially graded at almost twice the brightness of most films to adjust for complaints about dimly-projected 3D films, Deadline managed to get a hold of a letter written by Bay to projectionists.
