Hannah Horvath of ‘Girls’ joins, immediately quits, ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ writers’ room

Lena Dunham in Girls S04E01, "Iowa"

The season finale of Girls airs this Sunday on HBO, and Season 4 has been as strong as any in the show’s run, despite how awful Lena Dunham’s Hannah Horvath has grown (honestly, Marnie, not Hannah, may be the show’s most horrible and evil right now). This season has seen her enroll in grad school and subsequently quit, and with her abrasive, self-centered personality, it’s hard to imagine her honestly holding any job in the real world.

Regardless, Seth Meyers thought to give Hannah a try, in which Dunham stars as Hannah in a pre-recorded sketch on Late Night with Seth Meyers, in which Hannah becomes a member of Seth’s writers’ room and doesn’t last long. Though I can’t entirely blame her for expecting there to be bagels. Watch the video above.
