The first images from the Lego episode of The Simpsons have been released online on the show’s official Facebook page ahead of the special, which has taken two years to produce and will air on Fox next month. Titled “Brick Like Me”, the 550th episode features the Simpsons creators teaming up with Lego to produce a unique style of animation, complete with puns and references to the collectable building toy. “I think the episode is about: What is awesomeness?” excutive producer Matt Selman told Entertainment Weekly. “Is a universe that is awesome all the time a universe you truly want to live in?” “Brick Like Me” premieres May 4 at 8:00 PM.
