Kung Fury

Kung Fury is an over-the-top action comedy about a kung-fu renegade cop who travels through time to defeat ‘the most evil kung-fu master ever’ – Adolf Hitler a.k.a Kung Führer. It’s the brainchild of David Sandberg, a Swedish director who also stars in the title role. He started the project off with $5000 of his own money, and with the help of his friends, he’s created a universe that features arcade-robots, dinosaurs, nazis, vikings, norse gods, and exotic locations – from 1980s Miami to Nazi Germany – all completely computer generated. With the help of oscar nominated producer Mathias Fjällström, Sandberg has collected enough footage for a 80s style action packed trailer, but is looking for additional funding to finish the project. Fortunately, the Kickstarter has already well exceeded the original $200,000 target – but has the potential to be even better, with additional contributions. Watch the trailer below and visit the film’s kickstarter page here.
