FRIGHTFEST 2011is almost upon us! This coming August Bank Holiday (25th – 29th) will see hundreds, if not thousands of cult movie fans siege Leicester Square in our annual fest of alternative celebrations.
We at http://www.moviemurmurs.com will of course be covering as many of the films as possible (we will be attending all of them that show on the main screen) and then expect our yearly 2 Part PODCAST Special to follow a few days after. We will hopefully have a very special guest appearing on this to help us review the highlights and lowlifes of the Festival.
This will be my ninth year and it’s shaping up to be one of the very best. With many of the films just showcased at Fantasia, reports are flooding in and it seems we have some incredible treats on our hands.
Most years I find it a little hard to know what to be excited about or to hand pick a few titles that have had stellar feedback from preview screenings. But this year it’s been difficult slicing that list down to just 10. So instead, I’ve gone for a rather apt 13.
I’m cheating a little here of course because I’ve already had the extreme pleasure of seeing both Troll Hunter and Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil so I can recommend both of those with confidence.
In no particular order, here are my TOP 13 MUST-SEE FLICKS OF FRIGHTFEST 2011
