Now Furiosa is taking over Brad Pitt?
Charlize Theron is no stranger to big roles and this next one was set aside for Pitt until he had to move from the project. Now, it looks like the part will be adapted for Theron, Deadline reports. The movie, The Grey Man, is an adaptation of the Mark Greaney novel.
No director is attached with a script coming from Captain America directors Joe and Anthony Russo. The novel was about an expert CIA op-turned-assassin who is forced to evade adversaries as he saves the lives of daughters he didn’t know he had.
According to Deadline, the producers have been pushing for Theron since July with the official word coming in today that she bagged the role. They also mention that this is a similar situation as with Salt, which ended up starring Angelina Jolie instead of Tom Cruise, who dropped out.
