It seems that director Paul W.S. Anderson is finally throwing in the towel and trying something new. It has been reported through the Hollywood Reported that Anderson along with screenwriter Andrew Davis (who penned the Bridget Jones films) are writing a script for a new Three Musketeers adaptation. Anderson, who directed such films as Resident Evil and Alien vs. Predator, has admitted that the film will be shot in 3D and that the original story will be modernized. Anderson even promises “eye-popping action, romance and adventure.” A period action-adventure will be new for Anderson who has mainly situated his films in the science-fiction and martial-arts/action genres.
