Every month we choose a theme for our movie/TV club. In the past we’ve highlighted directors such as Quentin Tarantino, Alfred Hitchcock and David Cronenberg. Other times we’ve concentrated on events such as the Academy Awards. January’s theme is currently westerns, but we always plan ahead here at Sound On Sight. So now we are asking our readers to decide what we should do in February. Should we spotlight the Canadian-born actor who played the most lovable, time-traveling burnout, Ted “Theodore” Logan in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure? Should we take a look back at the soon to be retired American film producer, screenwriter, cinematographer, editor, and Academy Award-winning film director Steven Soderbergh? Or perhaps we should challenge our staff and have them take a crack at classic gangster films from the 30’s or 40’s? You have five categories to choose from folks. Also worth considering, is an entire month dedicated to the best music documentaries ever made. And if those four choice don’t satisfy you, maybe an entire month long retrospective on the career of Bruce Willis will.
We really want your input here, so take a second and cast a vote.
Editor’s Note: For those of you who are undecided, let me help you out. The obvious choice would be to vote for the man who put the “Bus” in Blockbuster! Can I get a whoa![poll id=”7″]
