‘Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop’ Gets Three Different Buyers at SXSW

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop, has been bought and will be distributed in a unique deal with AT&T, Abramorama and Magnolia Home Entertainment. The documentary chronicles Conan’s life after being fired at NBC, paying special attention to his 32-city Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour.

AT&T will serve as a P&A and multiplatform distribution and marketing partner that will release the film to its AT&T U-verse TV subscribers the same day as the film’s theatrical release through Abramorama. Magnolia will handle remaining VOD and other home entertainment rights.

The negotiating of the deal on behalf of the filmmakers was performed Liesl Copland of WME Global, with Brent Imai and Richard Wellerstein for AT&T, Richard Abramowitz for Abramorama and Tom Quinn for Magnolia.
