Sketch group explores how studio executives may have reacted to famous movie pitches

The Tumblr round-up is a compilation of images, links, posters, stories, videos and so on, taken from the Sound On Sight Tumblr account. We simply do not have the man power nor time to write articles on every interesting movie related goody we find, so this is our way of still promoting some of the stuff we love. If you have any interesting items that you think we should plug, please email us at [email protected]

Rejected Pitches is a recurring comedic segment from Above Average Productions that imagines what short-sighted movie executives thought of now-famous movies. Their latest features Tim Burton’s Edward Scissorhands torn apart by the executives, who’d much rather hear the tale of Anthony Michael Hall’s Jim, while another video sees the executives take issue with Orson Welles’ Citizen Kane and the fact that there’s a sled involved. You can see all the Rejected Pitches in one playlist here.
