F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel The Great Gatsby is a classic of American literature, and has seen numerous direct film adaptations, going all the way back to 1926. The latest filmmaker to take a crack at the material is Baz Luhrmann, perhaps most well known for his 2001 hit Moulin Rouge!. Luhrmann has assembled an impressive array of musicians to work on the film, beginning with legendary rapper Jay-Z to tackle the score, and the soundtrack for the film is slowly starting to emerge as its release date draws closer. With the first single, “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody”, having been released yesterday, today saw the second single from the film be made available to the public. Titled “Over The Love”, this track is performed by the group Florence + The Machine, and can be heard below.
