Duncan Jones made his debut with the film Moon, released earlier this year. Now talk of the talented director’s next film is buzzing about.

Variety reports that Jones has recently signed on, with Jake Gyllenhaal in mind to be his leading man; his latest script endeavor is called Source Code, being released by Universal. Ben Ripley scripts the movie’s first draft. Now, Billy Ray is working on the second draft.

The script isn’t the only thing that has had a change since the movie has come into a reality. Gyllenhaal’s role is rumored to originally belong to Topher Grace (That 70’s Show). The movie is about a sci-fi submarine, which revolves around time travel.

Though scificool.com reports that Jones hasn’t officially signed onto the movie, he says he is “attached” to it, making a big difference.
